Giana Levy is a print/digital journalist passionate about reporting entertainment news and culture. She also enjoys profiling notable individuals, celebrities and exciting subjects who impact communities. Giana has bylines in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, BET, Yahoo Life, Rolling Out Magazine and YR Media. She has previously worked for ESSENCE magazine in their social media department and for NBC News on their platforms team.

 

In addition to writing and reporting, Giana has experience creating copy for brands across many social media platforms, curating content on local and national levels to increase website/app engagement and implementing organizational structures for optimal efficiency. 

 

Giana earned her bachelor's degree in Mass Media Arts with a concentration in Journalism from Clark Atlanta University in May 2022. She received her master's degree in Journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism in July 2023.
